User Guide

Training design:

Random: Computer selects sequence the laser lights are to activate in, user settings are based on the following questions:

1. Is the light to go out after a set number of seconds and register an error if the user has failed to activate it within the time, or stay lit until it is deactivated?

2. How many lights are to light in sequence? 5-40 lights

3. Work with 2,3,4-8 lights.

4. How much time is to elapse from one light going out to the next coming on? To allow the user to take up start position again before the next light comes on. (0.1 sec. - 5.0 secs.)

Sequence: User defines in which sequence the lights are to light. There are 20 different programmable sequences which can be stored in the computer. It takes 30 secs. to program a sequence.

Is the light to go out after a set number of seconds and register an error if the user has failed to activate it within the time, or stay lit until it is deactivated?

2. How many lights are to light in sequence? (5-400 lights)

3. 2-8 lights can be used

4. How much time is to elapse from one light going out to the next coming on? (0.1 sec. – 5.0 secs.)

5. 1 or 2 users at the same time? Sequences can be programmed for a user to work with 4 lights, in which the sequence gives 4 sprints within a sector, and then a break while the other user can work.

Test/check: The computer records a total time for each sequence. A PC software program can be used for wireless transfer of all data to a PC with times for each light.

User guide:

1-8 laser lights are connected to the computer.

The lights are activated by passing your hand over them one at a time. The first light activated is designated as no. 1 on the display, the next as no. 2 and so on.

Press ENTER.

You are now in Mode. Use the arrow keys and selector to navigate between RANDOM, SEQUENCE, SET UP SYSTEM, SHOW STATUS. A key to these terms follows:

SHOW STATUS :

Shows battery charge status.

SET UP SYSTEM:

ENTER: Set if and when a light is to go out automatically ( 0 msec – 10,000 msec)

For example, if you set 2000 msec, the light will go out after 2 seconds if the user has not activated it before. The computer registers this as an error and adds 10 seconds to the total time as a penalty.

Select NONE to set each lamp to light until it is activated.

RANDOM:

The computer will select the sequence in which the lights will come on at random.

ENTER: Set Interval using the selector. Interval mean: The time to elapse from one light going out to the next coming on (0.1secs. – 5.0 secs.)

Use the ARROW KEY on the right to set how many lights are to come on in this series. (5-40)

ENTER after 4 secs. Starts training program.

Hold down ENTER for 2 secs. To return to Mode selection.

Select Arrow key on the right for:

SEQUENCE:

ENTER and select sequence (1-20 lights).

ENTER to set sequence, e.g. 1,3,2,3,8,4,3,5,5,6 etc. Takes 30 secs.

ENTER to set interval using the selector (0.1 – 5.0 secs.) Enter the time to elapse from when one light goes out until the next comes on.

Right ARROW KEY: How many times the sequence is to run without stopping. 1-20, i.e. from 20-400 lights.

ENTER for training session to begin after 4 secs.
